Thin Places – Sample Post

Here is a suggested structure for your blog post.

I. Opening and Introduction of Mary – why you are participating, how you found out about the tour, how you know Mary, who Mary is, etc. Bio information can be found here.

II. Book Review and/or Interview with Mary(pictures of the author and the book cover of Thin Places are available here)

A. Write an honest review of Thin Places. Don’t be afraid to share what you really think of the book, but please remember to do so with grace and respect for Mary. -OR- Conduct your own interview by emailing me questions for Mary in advance of your blog posting date.

B. Choose one of the canned interviews (or a combination of them) or information from the media press release to post:

III. An encouragement to check out Mary’s website. Also a link to the book on Amazon (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/031028418X). Technorati tracks books based upon that specific link, so using the link provided helps Mary gain some additional exposure.

IV. An encouragement to check out the other bloggers on the tour. You can either list all of the bloggers and link to them (List and HTML code found here) -OR- you can link to the complete list of bloggers (Found here).

V. Please remember that in order to remain in compliance with new FTC policies, you must mention somewhere in your post that you received the book from the publisher in return for your review. The disclaimer can be as simple as, “ provided a review copy of this book.”
